I was born in Istanbul, Turkey, in 1991. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey, in 2014.

My journey to United States started in 2014, August when I joined the Michigan State University for my master study in Civil Engineering with a concentration of Pavement Engineering. After I had achieved my Master of Science degree in 2016 at the Michigan State University, I opened a new page in my journey book by starting my PhD at the Northeastern University. My concentration is Geotechnical Engineering focusing on the Earthquake Engineering and currently working as a research assistant under the supervision of Prof. Mishac Yegian.
